A specialist residential gambling rehab
The Retreat by Gordon Moody is an inpatient gambling rehab centre in a discreet location in the West Midlands, UK.
It provides a structured residential environment for adults seeking specialist treatment for gambling-related harm, away from the pressures and triggers of everyday life.
Built on more than 50 years of clinical heritage from Gordon Moody, the UK’s most established gambling treatment charity, the Retreat brings together evidence-led therapy, experienced clinicians, and a calm, purpose-designed setting. It is one of very few residential gambling treatment options in the UK and Ireland, and the only one delivered by a specialist gambling charity.
The Retreat is intentionally designed to support recovery. Every detail of the setting is shaped around the clinical work that happens here.
Inside the Retreat: private ensuite rooms and therapy spaces
- Private ensuite accommodation. Each guest has their own room, giving space for rest, reflection and privacy throughout the programme.
- Calm communal spaces. Shared areas are designed to encourage connection without pressure, with quiet corners for those who need them.
- Dedicated therapy rooms. Group sessions, one-to-one work, and clinical assessments all take place in purpose-built spaces, kept separate from accommodation.
- A professional, not performative, atmosphere. This is not a luxury retreat. It is a clinical setting designed to feel like a home away from home while serious recovery work takes place.
This is not luxury for luxury’s sake. It is a sanctuary for serious recovery.
